Dr Victor Lim is an accreditated specialist in Cardiology who has extensive experience in assessing and managing patients with a wide variety of cardiac issues e.g. coronary artery disease, cardiac rhythm issues, valvular and structural heart disease. He also regularly sees patients for general medical and health assessment.

His cardiac subspecialty is Interventional Cardiology – he performs coronary angioplasty and stenting for patients with coronary artery disease, both in stable chronic disease and also in acute situations such as acute myocardial infarction (‘heart attack’).

Heart Partners Clinic can provide or arrange the following services or procedures:

  • General Cardiac Assessment & Screening

  • General Health Screening, including general health blood profile testing

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)

  • Treadmill stress testing / exercise stress echocardiogram

  • Transthoracic echocardiogram 

  • Carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) ultrasound imaging 

  • Myocardial perfusion imaging (e.g. MIBI scan, Rubidium-PET myocardial perfusion scan)

  • CT coronary angiography

  • Ambulatory blood pressure measurement

  • Assessment for abnormal cardiac rhythm e.g. 1 – 7 days Holter assessment

  • Coronary angiogram +/- coronary angioplasty & stenting 

  • Pericardiocentesis 

  • Electrophysiological studies for abnormal heart rhythm *

  • Permanent pacemaker implantation *

  • Implantable Cardio-Defibrillator (ICD) or Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) *

  • Coronary artery bypass graft surgery *

  • Surgical repair or replacement for valvular heart disease *
